Imperial Cusco Tour Package 4 Days: "City Tour - Sunrise in Machu Picchu - Mountain of Colors"

Arrival in the city of Cusco, reception at the airport or bus terminal; we will be waiting for you with a sign displaying your name, followed by a transfer in our tourist vehicle to the selected hotel.

At the scheduled time, we will begin hotel pickups to start the city tour and visit nearby ruins. Our first stop is KORICANCHA, the most sacred and important building of the Tahuantinsuyo Empire, also known as the Temple of the Sun.

We continue our tour with a visit to the four archaeological sites surrounding Cusco: SACSAYHUAMAN (a grand fortress located 5 km from the city), QENQO (a sacred amphitheater, a center of worship for the Puma god, and a site where human sacrifices were performed), PUCAPUCARA (“Red Fortress” due to the reddish hue its rocks take on at dusk), and TAMBOMACHAY (a temple dedicated to the worship of water). Return to the hotel.

At the scheduled time, transfer to the bus station, where we will board the buses that will take us to the Lost City of the Incas, “Machu Picchu,” the most famous example of Inca architecture, discovered in 1911 by Hiram Bingham. We will enjoy a guided tour of the main structures of the citadel, including: The Viewpoint, the Temple of the Three Windows, the Intihuatana, the Main Plaza, and more.

At the end of the tour, we will take the bus back down to the town of Aguas Calientes, where you will have free time for lunch.

In the afternoon, departure from the train station in Aguas Calientes.

7Pm. Train departure to the city of Cusco. Pm. Arrival in Cusco and transfer to the hotel.

One of the most spectacular geological formations in the world, the famous Vinicunca Mountain, also known as Rainbow Mountain or the Mountain of Seven Colors, displays a magical combination of colors that delight visitors and captivate travelers. We depart early from your hotel, between 4:00 and 4:30 am, heading towards the town of Cusipata, where we will have breakfast around 7:00 am. After approximately 40 more minutes on the road, we begin a two-hour hike to reach this legendary mountain, located at about 5,020 meters above sea level. Once there, you can admire the breathtaking blend of colors and geological formations, take time for photos, and rest. The return hike to the transport takes two hours, followed by lunch before heading back to Cusco, arriving at your hotel around 5:30 pm.
